Dribbling:
The aim of the game is to avoid being tackled by the oncoming defenders and kick the balls that are coming at you. Using the directional buttons (left and right), guide your player on a dribbling run. As your run progresses, the game gets faster! For every ball you kick you score 1 point. The more balls you kick the more points you will add to your lifelines.
The Wall:
The aim of the game is to keep the ball off the ground and chip away at the Wall. Using the directional buttons (left and right), follow the ball and keep it off the ground. If you drop the ball you begin again by pressing the B button. As you progress, the difficulty of each level will increase.
The more levels you clear, the more points you will be awarded against your A (ability) and C (conditioning) Lifelines.
Sprints:
The aim of the game is to have your MatchMaster run the 100 meter sprint as fast as they can. Using the right directional button, repeatedly press it down to make your player run the 100m. You have to be quick to earn the points.
Passing:
The aim of the game is to pass the ball to your striker to score the goals. Using the directional buttons (left, right, up, and down), position the crosshairs (+) on the field. You can move the + around for every pass or leave it in one place. Using the B button, pass the ball into the path of the striker to coincide with him meeting the +. Score as many goals as you can in the time you are allotted. Remember, it's all in the timing of the pass!
Shuttle Runs:
The aim of the game is to make as many shuttle runs in the time you are allotted. Repeatedly press the right directonal button, making your player run out to the cone. When past the cone, use the left directional button to run back the other way. Remember, there and back is 1 shuttle run.
Free Kicks:
The aim of the game is to curl the ball over the wall to score. Hold down the left, right, or up (center) directional button to choose what way you want to shoot. Use your right thumb to push button B to curl the Free Kick over the wall to score. Easy! Watch out for the defenders on the line!
Penalty Kick
The aim of the game is simple, score as many penalties out of 5 shots. Hold down the left, right, or up (center) directional buttons to choose which way you want to shoot. While holding down the directional button, use your right thumb to push the B button to take the penalty shot. The goalkeeper will guess which way you are shooting and try to save your shot.
Nurturing
Each day you will need to look after your player by setting a routine. The player will need to be Fed, Trained, and Rested. By setting a routine daily you will accumulate points to your 6 Lifelines. The more you look after your player the Stronger, Healthier and Fitter he will become.
