Deke:
The aim of the game is to avoid being checked by the oncoming defenders and shoot the pucks that are coming at you. Using the directional buttons (left and right), guide your player on a skating run. As your run progresses, the game gets faster! For every puck you shoot you score 1 point. The more pucks you shoot the more points you will add to your lifelines.
Shoot Out:
The aim of the game is to shoot the puck past the goalie to score. Hold down the left, right, or up (center) directional button to choose what way you want to shoot. Use your right thumb to push button B to shoot. Easy! Watch out for the defenders!
End to End:
The aim of the game is to make as many shuttle runs in the time you are allotted. Repeatedly press the right directonal button, making your player skate out to the cone. When past the cone, use the left directional button to skate back the other way. Remember, there and back is 1 shuttle run.
Sprints:
The aim of the game is to have your MatchMaster skate as fast as they can. Using the right directional button, repeatedly press it down to make your player skate to the end of the rink. You have to be quick to earn the points.
One Timer:
The aim of the game is to pass the puck to your teammates to score the goals. Using the directional buttons (left, right, up, and down), position the crosshairs (+) on the ice. You can move the + around for every pass or leave it in one place. Using the B button, pass the puck into the path of your teammate to coincide with him meeting the +. Score as many goals as you can in the time you are allotted. Remember, it's all in the timing of the pass!
Shots:
The aim of the game is to keep the puck moving and break all of the bricks. Using the directional buttons (left and right), follow the puck and shoot it back up to the bricks. If you drop the puck you begin again by pressing the B button. As you progress, the difficulty of each level will increase.
The more levels you clear, the more points you will be awarded against your A (ability) and C (conditioning) Lifelines.
Nurturing:
Each day you will need to look after your player by setting a routine. The player will need to be Fed, Trained, and Rested. By setting a routine daily you will accumulate points to your 6 Lifelines. The more you look after your player the Stronger, Healthier and Fitter he will become.
With the correct diets, training, and rest, when you come to challenging your friends to an Infra Red Match, you can become the Ultimate MatchMaster!
